“No elevator, three floors. Unable to get a ground floor room on arrival. I am 80 with spinal stenosis so it was a challenge even with a second floor room. Bad on me not to have asked when booking. Staff was very helpful, the room was clean and nice. Heat / cooling worked well. Breakfast was above average.”

“Staff was great. Breakfast was good. Bar was closed. Seems to be understaffed. Coffee machine was out of coffee. Water filler needed a new filter. Was watching staff fill water pitchers for breakfast use at the water bottle filler. It was little easy to repair things. Timer in the hot tup was broken so it doesn’t turn off.”

“Staff scolded me for being in the lobby at 5:00 in the morning after I just got done doing work in my room on my laptop. The breakfast set up was one giant waffle dehydrated oatmeal cereal and a small cup container orange juice in a pitcher and cut up whole muffins.”

“This motel was clean. There are two levels with no elevator. This was difficult with my elderly mother. The outdoor fire was not working and our bathtub lever was broken. These were reported to the staff. They seemed receptive. The breakfast was basic. Walking distance of an excellent coffeehouse called Realfine. I would also recommend West Side of Chicago pizza that is two blocks away. Neighborhood seemed safe.”

“Not great, room is small, best suited for a solo travelers. Not accessible outlets, no place to get ready. Fan and refrigerator take up so much room in an already small room.”
